Collected poems about life, relationships and faith.
written by Janette Grant
Redemption Song is a selection of poetry written during the sixteen years since the author made her shahadah and accepted Islam. Each poem represents a period of her life and the awakenings that she experienced as she learned about the Islamic religion. It is her hope and prayer that this poetry may shed light upon the beauty of Islam for those who may not know much about it and that the poems may perhaps inspire others as they seek the truth in their own life’s journey.
Mindworks Publishing would like to present the first in a series of author interviews showcasing the works of inspirational and educational writers. In the spotlight today is Azzizah Abdullah, a Muslimah author born in Manhattan, NY but raised in Philadelphia, PA under the guidance of parents who were very involved in the Muslim community. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Education at Penn State University and has written a total of seven Arabic and Islamic coloring books and workbooks.
